Below are the minimum requirements for the AgileVoice billing and provisioning application. We recommend that you run the latest version within the release we've specified.

Operating System Requirements

•	CentOS 3 or Redhat Enterprise Linux 3 (or Advanced Server 3)

•	CentOS 4 or Redhat Enterprise Linux 4 (or Advanced Server 4)

•	Solaris 10 x86/x64 or SPARC

Software Requirements

•	Apache 1.3 or better or LigHTTPd 1.4.11 or better

•	MySQL 4.1 or better

•	PHP 4.3.2 or better

Both the CentOS 3 and RHEL 3 releases are based on the 2.4 Linux kernel series. The CentOS 4 and RHEL 4 releases are based on the 2.6 Linux kernel series.

If you are currently using the MySQL 3.23 series, we highly recommend upgrading to the MySQL 4.1 or newer release. The 4.1 release is backwards compatible with the 3.23 series (exceptions and notes apply for replication features) and offers new SQL syntax support, as well as noticeable performance gains.

Apache 2.0 will work; however, we strongly recommend the 1.3 series as it is supported by the PHP/Zend community. There are known problems with Apache 2.0 and PHP. See the PHP web site for more information.
