Configuring the Email Setup

AgileVoice supports unlimited number of e-mail setups. Each e-mail setup can have it’s own from name and e-mail address, SMTP account, and you can define a CC and BCC list for each outgoing mail that is sent so the e-mails are distributed to as many parties as the administrator wishes.

After installing AgileVoice, you should configure the default email setup to the correct settings for your site. To do this, enter the AgileVoice administration area, and in the left menu, go to Setup -> Email Setup -> List.

The default e-mail setup will come up and the fields you should configure are:

From Name: This will be the name that appears as the sender when AgileVoice sends out any message.

From Email: This will be the return e-mail address for the messages AgileVoice sends out.

If you need to use an SMTP account to send e-mails, then you should set the SMTP account option to “Yes”, and enter your SMTP server name, username, and password.

Also, you can enter additional e-mail addresses into the CC and BCC fields for anybody who should be copied on the messages AgileVoice sends out.
